Cleveland OH, August 16, 2013. Mayor Frank G. Jackson, Mayor, City of Cleveland will participate in a debate hosted by the City Club of Cleveland at Noon Wednesday, September 18th. The event continues a time honored City Club tradition of hosting important political debates.

“We look forward to a serious debate on the issues that are critical to the people of the City of Cleveland” says, Blaine Griffin, Campaign Manager for Mayor Jackson. Jackson and Lanci campaign representatives negotiated and agreed on debate specifics with City Club staff earlier this month (see attached City Club news release for additional details).

Subsequently, an organization rented space at the City Club and is hosting a “Mayoral Candidate Forum” which Mayor Jackson will not be participating – the hosting organization has been informed of this fact a number of times. Nevertheless, Mayor Jackson has been and will be participating in a number of candidate forums in neighborhoods across the City of Cleveland.
