OAKS OF EUCLID RENOVATING LOCAL CITY PARK; CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES ON THREE-STORY INDOOR PLAYGROUND

Euclid, Ohio - Oaks of Euclid Apartments, located at 27061 Sidney Drive in Euclid, Ohio, has begun the renovation of a park owned by the City of Euclid that is located within its apartment community. New basketball hoops are up, and seal coating and restriping of the court has begun. Other improvements for completion later this spring include: landscaping enhancements, and the installation of new playground equipment, picnic tables, a grill, and picnic table shelter roof.
“Neighborhood parks and playgrounds are really important in fostering a welcoming community, social connection and healthy activity,” said Mark Moorehouse, Dominium senior vice president and partner. “That’s why, after evaluating the city park that is located within the boundaries of the community, we saw a need and proposed sponsoring improvements. The park renovation will benefit families from the surrounding neighborhoods as well as those who live at the Oaks of Euclid.”
In addition, Oaks of Euclid is building a three-story indoor playground at its leasing and activity center, which is currently under construction and scheduled to open in early July 2013. For use by residents as well as kids who are touring the community with their parents, the indoor playground features slides, tunnels, and climbing activities. And it is designed to be an inclusive playground – to be accessible to the physically challenged. A leading manufacturer of indoor playgrounds that are installed at theme parks, recreational facilities and family entertainment centers, designed the structure.
“Our goal is to create a memorable and exciting experience for the kids who live at Oaks of Euclid; it’s as simple as that,” added Moorehouse. “Once completed, the leasing and activity center will also feature a fitness facility for residents, as well as staff offices and a reception area for prospective residents.”
The new leasing and activity center, located on Euclid Avenue, will be a one-stop gateway for future residents to learn more about Oaks of Euclid Apartments. The on-site leasing staff utilizes a fleet of vans to host prospective residents on tours of the property and model apartments. Applications are currently being accepted at Oaks of Euclid Apartments located at 27061 Sidney Drive in Euclid, Ohio. Rents for apartments begin at $499 per month and townhomes at $689 per month.
