Opening Public Reception for Renowned Cleveland Heights Artist Slated for September 19
September 2013—Notre Dame College’s Clara Fritzsche Library will host “Portraits of Improvisation,” a showing of linoleum block prints by local artist, fashion designer and Notre Dame College alumna Shyvonne Coleman. An free, public opening reception will be held in the library on Thursday, September 19, from 6- 8 p.m.

General Motors gave a 2-ton learning tool to Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®).
The company donated a 2011 Silverado truck to the College’s GM Automotive Service Education Program to support classroom instruction, reports Ted Schafer, assistant professor of automotive technology. This is the first diesel truck provided to the training program at the Western Campus in Parma.
Event Sept. 17 at the Cleveland Heights Senior Center
Lieutenant Governor and Department of Insurance Director Mary Taylor announced the Department’s Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP) will hold a free Medicare Check-up presentation-only event in Cuyahoga County on Sept. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Cuyahoga Heights Senior Center. The center is located at One Monticello Blvd.

In a letter, Williams was notified she was terminated effective immediately “due to your failure over a sustained period of several years to fulfill core duties and responsibilities of the Executive Director of NCBM and your recent admissions regarding your use of the bank accounts of NCBM and The NCBM Title Company for personal expenditures totaling at least $623,000 without board approval.”
