Behind the Camera

The past year has been the biggest year ever in the history of film production in greater Cleveland. With an estimated economic impact of more than $150 million, thousands of people and hundreds of businesses are now benefiting from our growing film industry. In order to keep this momentum going and continue growing this industry, we would like to introduce our inaugural "Behind the Camera" day.
Join us in celebrating Veterans Day in a very unique way. We have invited real-life heroes and their on-screen counterparts from "Band of Brothers" to share their World War II stories and discuss the production of the award-winning mini-series that introduced Easy Company to the world. Attendees will have a chance to hear these stories first-hand and experience an exclusive behind-the-scenes conversation and peek into the lives of these men. As a special thank you for your past support, we are extending to you a special save the date for this event.
WHAT: Greater Cleveland Film Commission "Behind the Scenes" Day
WHEN: Monday, November 11, 2013, at noon (lunch will be provided)
WHERE: Cleveland Intercontinental Hotel (9801 Carnegie Ave.)
By attending this event, you will be directly responsible for helping us:
Create more jobs and attract young talent to Cleveland
Generate greater appreciation for Cleveland by international media and business leaders
Stimulate the local economy by introducing new business opportunities
The Greater Cleveland Film Commission is making a difference in each of these areas, but we need your support to continue the progress
