The American Red Cross is proud to announce its collaboration with Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD), Cleveland Metroparks, Cleveland EMS, Cleveland State University, and The Greater Cleveland YMCA to provide first aid, CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) training to over 75 nurses and teachers in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. The domino effect of this initial training, detailed below, makes this collaboration very unique.
All five organizations will assist with training Cleveland Metropolitan School’s teachers and staff to become Red Cross instructors. In turn, the teachers will train their students in lifesaving skills.
